You in This Role support procurement, supply chain management, inventory planning, operations analytics, and business systems through data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for raw materials market analysis, supplier evaluation, NetSuite reporting, KPI management, systems integrations, shipment visibility reporting, inventory optimization, MRP execution, demand forecasting, and process automation. The ideal candidate combines procurement and supply chain expertise with strong analytical, technical, and programming skills to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, supplier performance, and business decision-making.
What You'll Do
• Conduct raw material market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, supply risks, commodity forecasts, and sourcing opportunities.
• Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes across production environments to ensure material availability and alignment with production schedules.
• Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, inventory turns, replenishment strategies, and working capital utilization.
• Perform demand forecasting, forecast accuracy analysis, and supply planning activities.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) through reporting, modeling, and capacity planning insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance NetSuite saved searches, reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions.
• Manage purchase order data, supplier records, item master data, and procurement documentation within ERP systems.
• Perform supplier qualification, vetting, risk assessments, and supplier performance analysis.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and monitor cost, quality, delivery, and service performance metrics.
• Manage shipment visibility, tracking data, logistics reporting, and transportation performance metrics using systems such as ShipSpy and related visibility platforms.
• Support systems integrations, data uploads, data migrations, imports, exports, validation, and synchronization across business platforms.
• Develop automated tools and workflows for data collection, cleansing, transformation, reporting, and business process improvement.
• Utilize Python and other programming languages to automate reporting, analytics, forecasting, and operational processes.
• Create executive-level KPI dashboards and operational reporting for procurement, supply chain, inventory, supplier, logistics, and operations teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations analysis, inventory planning, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Experience running MRP and inventory planning processes in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, forecasting, supply planning, and supplier management principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced formulas.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data management methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, analytics, data processing, and reporting.
• Experience with APIs, ETL processes, systems integrations, JSON, XML, and data exchange technologies.
Nice to Have's
• APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM, CPSM, or CSCP
• Experience in manufacturing, ingredients, chemicals, batteries, industrial products, consumer goods, or related industries.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions and supply chain integration platforms.
• Experience with machine learning, AI-enabled analytics, and advanced forecasting tools.
