Community profiles

BuildList stores the profile and digest preferences you submit. A résumé is optional, stored privately, visible only to authorized administrators, and removable from your preferences page. When you upload one, AI extracts professional facts such as roles, employers, education, skills, location, and a short summary. Résumés are processed by Meta Muse Contributor through OpenRouter. Meta may use the document and extracted content to improve its products. If Muse fails, Gemini processes the résumé with zero data retention and no data collection.

Résumé-assisted job matching

A matching résumé adds a profile to our private subscriber portal and never subscribes you to email. BuildList retains the original file and extracted professional facts for authorized administrator review, including your name and email if stated in the document. An email address in a résumé is unverified and does not modify any existing subscription. Résumés are processed by Meta Muse Contributor through OpenRouter. Meta may use the document and extracted content to improve its products. If Muse fails, Gemini processes the résumé with zero data retention and no data collection.

You review the extracted role, skills, experience, and education and choose what to use in matching. Only your selected facts enter your search draft. Experience and education provide background, not automatic job requirements. Your private matching review expires after one hour; closing it or applying your choices keeps the profile and original résumé available to administrators. Use “Remove résumé and extracted background” during that review to delete the retained profile and queue its file for deletion, or contact us later to request removal.

Saved items

Saved roles, companies, and searches stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not synchronized to an account. You can remove them individually or clear browser storage. When browser storage is unavailable, saves last only for the current visit.

Profile enrichment

BuildList uses Harmonic and public professional sources to verify or complete Community profile facts after subscription verification. BuildList does not automate or scrape LinkedIn pages. Public-web findings retain their source links and require review before replacing information you supplied.

Control and deletion

You can remove your résumé, update your LinkedIn URL, or unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing deletes stored profile facts, enrichment sources, and the résumé while retaining only the minimum subscription record needed to honor the request.

Service providers

BuildList uses Cloudflare for infrastructure and storage, Google Analytics for aggregate site usage, Meta Muse Contributor through OpenRouter for résumé extraction, Google Gemini through OpenRouter for extraction fallback and cited public-web research, Harmonic for professional-data enrichment, and Resend for email delivery. Job-search analytics contain only query-length ranges and result counts, never the query text. Matching diagnostics record outcomes, timing, model usage, costs, result IDs, and the public job facts shown at request time for up to 90 days. If you report a bad match, we retain the job ID, selected reason, optional note, and any active brief and match labels you choose to include for review for up to 90 days. You can preview or exclude the brief before sending. Your full conversation and private posting evidence are not included in the report. Access is limited to the stated purpose, and operational logs must not contain résumé contents, email addresses, or raw search queries.
