About Nscale
Nscale is the GPU cloud engineered for AI. We provide cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure for AI start-ups and large enterprise customers. Nscale enables AI-focused companies to achieve superior results by reducing the complexity of AI development. Our GPU cloud bolsters technical capabilities and directly supports strategic business outcomes, including cost management, rapid innovation, and environmental responsibility.
We thrive on a culture of relentless innovation, ownership, and accountability, where every team member takes pride in their work and drives it with excellence and urgency. As an Nscaler, you'll build trust through openness and transparency, where everyone is inspired to do their best work. If you join our team, you'll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.
About the Role
We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Vendor Management to own the full operational performance and contract lifecycle of Nscale's vendor ecosystem — spanning operational service vendors and platform partners (Jira, ServiceNow, Sunbird DCIM, Linear/Procore, Salesforce).
• You'll monitor SLA adherence, manage escalations, and own the contract registry and renewal cycle across every vendor category.
• You're comfortable maintaining audit-ready compliance documentation and serving as the working-level point of contact for vendors, Legal, and other active service engagements.
• You'll make sure SLA, performance, and contract data feeds cleanly into the dashboards and KPI reporting used by our Finance & Business Intelligence team.
What You'll be Doing
• Monitor SLA adherence across all active operational service and platform vendor relationships; maintain performance scorecards for each
• Produce weekly and monthly vendor performance reports for leadership
• Identify at-risk service performance trends early and escalate with recommended interventions
• Own the operational escalation process for vendor performance failures, service quality issues, and SLA breaches
• Provide day-to-day operational oversight of key vendor relationships — monitoring service delivery, coordinating against SLAs, and escalating issues as needed
• Track SLA adherence and operational performance across all platform vendors (Jira, ServiceNow, Sunbird DCIM, Linear/Procore, Salesforce); serve as the working-level point of contact for day-to-day service delivery matters
• Own the contract registry: track all active agreements, including expiration dates, renewal windows, and amendment history
• Proactively flag upcoming renewals and renegotiation opportunities with recommended commercial positions
• Manage contract amendment and change order processes; keep documentation accurate and current
• Coordinate with Finance & Business Intelligence when negotiating or renewing platform agreements, ensuring contracts reflect required data access, integration, and configuration terms
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for all vendor contracts and platform agreements
• Track vendor compliance certifications, insurance requirements, and contractual obligations
• Serve as the internal point of contact for Legal on contract review requests, redlines, and compliance questions
• Research market rates, benchmark pricing, and competitive alternatives to support renegotiation strategy
• Prepare renegotiation briefing materials and commercial recommendations
About You
• 6+ years in vendor operations, contract administration, procurement operations, or vendor management — preferably in infrastructure or operations-intensive environments
• Experience managing operational service and software/platform vendor relationships concurrently, including contract portfolios spanning both categories
• Strong organizational and communication skills — able to manage multiple concurrent vendor relationships across different categories
• Strong legal-commercial literacy — able to read and interpret contract terms; experience working with Legal teams on review and redlines
• Experience with vendor performance management systems and scorecarding, as well as contract management and document management platforms
• Analytical — comfortable working with SLA metrics, service performance trends, and market/pricing benchmarking
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field; CPCM or paralegal certification a plus
Why this role matters
This role gives one leader end-to-end ownership of Nscale's vendor ecosystem — from SLA monitoring and escalation management to contract renewals and audit readiness. You'll be the driving force behind vendor performance across both operational service providers and platform partners, giving leadership a single, reliable source of truth on vendor health, risk, and renewal timing. You'll also be the critical link keeping Legal, Finance & Business Intelligence, and vendor partners moving in sync.
