Extropic is hiring a Test and Automation Engineer to help accelerate development of our embedded systems. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment, who is looking to take ownership of product areas and ensure quality and stability. The ideal candidate is a generalist who enjoys working close to the metal. Required Experience • Automating data collection of devices under test • Programming in Python and/or C++ • Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers • Familiarity with embedded Linux systems • Familiarity with standard hardware protocols (SPI,I2C,USB,PCIe,MIPI,UART) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience • PCB design and layout • Embedded system design • Handling and debugging complex integrated systems • Probing and testing integrated circuits
